Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Ram Prasad Subedi, met with IOM Deputy Director General SungAh Lee at the Permanent Mission.
The discussion covered key areas of migration governance, including the Global Compact for Migration (GCM), ethical recruitment, and strengthening IOM’s field presence.
The meeting comes ahead of the 116th IOM Council, where member states will review priorities and future directions for global migration management.
