Ambassador Thapa Meets IMF Special Representative

Kathmandu: Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, met with Robert Powell, IMF Special Representative to the UN.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between ECOSOC and the IMF, priorities of the ECOSOC President, and preparations for the 2026 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development (FfD), along with other issues of mutual interest.
