Ambassador Thapa Meets UNDP Regional Director

Kathmandu: Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations, met Kanni Wignaraja, Assistant Secretary-General and UNDP Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific.

Their discussions focused on Nepal’s upcoming graduation from the LDC category, post-graduation strategies, and priorities under Nepal’s ECOSOC Presidency. Both sides emphasized the need to accelerate progress on the SDGs and ensure that development delivers tangible benefits for people at the grassroots level.
