Kathmandu: Permanent Representative of Nepal to the UN in New York, Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, welcomed the newly appointed Permanent Representative of Bhutan to the UN, Tenzin Rondel Wangchuk, at the Mission.
They discussed bilateral relations between Nepal and Bhutan as well as multilateral cooperation including at the UN, while reaffirming their shared commitment to multilateralism, sustainable development, and strengthened global partnerships.
They also exchanged views on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing climate change, and advocating for the interests of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).
