Kathmandu: AIESEC Nepal, in collaboration with FAO Nepal, hosted the Asia Pacific Conference 2026 in Kathmandu. The conference was joined by over 100 young leaders from across 20+ countries in the region.
Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, highlighted the critical role of youth as drivers of agrifood systems transformation, during his Special Remarks, reflecting the conference’s focus on leadership, innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals.
He emphasized FAO’s commitment to investing in youth-led solutions, partnerships and platforms to build more inclusive, resilient and sustainable food systems for the future.
