Kathmandu: Simon Ernst, the Australian Ambassador to Nepal, participated in a poetry event along with his wife Simone Murphy. The couple joined a panel poetry recitation with Nirvana Bhandari.
The event showcased Nepal’s vibrant feminist literary scene, featuring young talents like Pranika Koyu and Luja Mathema, along with a poetry recitation by Ujjwala Maharjan.
Ambassador Ernst expressed pride in supporting such initiatives and emphasized that gender equality plays an important role in ensuring a peaceful and stable Indo-Pacific region.
