Kathmandu: The Australian Embassy in Nepal has expressed gratitude to President Ramchandra Poudel following a meeting held on December 3
According to the embassy, the discussion reaffirmed the strong bond between Australia and Nepal, strengthened further by the Nepali diaspora and the large number of Nepali students studying in Australia.
During the meeting, Ambassador Leann Johnston reiterated Australia’s longstanding commitment as a development and diplomatic partner of Nepal. She also conveyed best wishes to the Government and people of Nepal for safe and inclusive elections scheduled for March 5.
Ambassador Johnston thanked President Poudel for the warm hospitality and continuous support extended to her during her tenure in Nepal.
