Kathmandu: The Australian Embassy in Kathmandu has joined hands with the Project Sarangi Foundation in providing professional Sarangi-making training to youth from marginalised communities.
The training provided will not only preserve indigenous knowledge and skills on production of sarangi but also assist participants to develop their own sarangi enterprises. The Embassy extended their appreciation towards Kiran Nepali for leading this wonderful project. Likewise, the Embassy extended appreciation to Deputy Mayor of Kritipur Municipality Subha Laxmi Shakya for inaugurating this innovative activity.
