Kathmandu: Following the demise of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Begum Khaleda Zia, the Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu has been observing a three-day state mourning period as declared by the Government of Bangladesh.
During the mourning period, the national flag of Bangladesh has been kept at half-mast at the Embassy and Bangladesh House in Kathmandu. The Embassy has also opened a condolence book at its premises from January 2.
