Kathmandu: Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, observed the House of Representatives elections in Nepal on March 5.
The ambassador visited three polling centres in Kathmandu and Lalitpur and said the overall arrangements were good and systematic, creating a peaceful environment for voters.

During the visit, he also met election observers from other embassies and countries. Rahman said he had the opportunity to exchange views with voters, polling officers, polling agents, security personnel and foreign observers.
He described several practices in the election process as commendable examples within South Asia and wished Nepal a successful election outcome.
