Bangladesh Releases Statement on the Devastation Caused by the Floods in Nepal

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh released a statement on the devastation caused by the flash floods in Rasuwa, Nepal. The statement mentioned that the people of Bangladesh are shocked and saddened by the sudden flash floods and mudslide in Nepal causing death and destruction. As they keep following the reports, there are hundreds missing, many of them feared to be dead including tourists. 

The people and government of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman expressed solidarity with the government and the friendly people of Nepal in this difficult time. 

They said, “We express our deep condolences for the deceased. We hope for early recovery and treatment of those missing.”

Bangladesh stated to stand ready to assist Nepal in any possible way in relief and rescue efforts.
