Bangladeshi Ambassador Holds Meeting with Lumbini Development Trust

Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Md Shafiqur Rahman, held a meeting with Sanuraja Shakya, Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust Executive Committee.

During the discussion, Secretary Shakya briefed the Ambassador about the ongoing monastery building project in Lumbini. The Government of Bangladesh is also constructing a Buddhist Monastery Complex in the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini as part of its contribution to the sacred site.
