Kathmandu: The Bhaktapur Film Festival, which began on March 20, has concluded after screening a total of 24 films.
The festival closed with the screening of the documentary Mother Rebecca, directed by Sandesh Bhurtel. The closing ceremony, held at the Nepal Vocational Academy in Bhaktapur, was attended by Bhaktapur Municipality Deputy Mayor Rajani Joshi, along with filmmakers Sujit Bidari, Prabin Karki, and Sachin Ghimire.
The festival opened with Gaun Aayeko Bato, directed by Nabin Subba.
Organized by a group of young filmmakers from Bhaktapur, the team included Kiran Kilambu, Safal Vaidya, Smit Giri, Bikesh Prajapati, Saksham KC, and Prabin Takki.
The festival featured a range of films and documentaries, including Aina Jhyalko Putali by Sujit Bidari, Song of Clouds by Ankit Poudel, Yet Another Winter by Kiran Shrestha, and Dhorpatan, directed by Rajan Kathet and Sunir Pandey.
The festival was directed by Kiran Kilambu.
