Kathmandu: Dr. Shankar P. Sharma, Ambassador of Nepal to India, felicitated Bijaya Shahi of Kalikot, Nepal, at the Embassy of Nepal in India for achieving a Guinness World Records certificate in yoga.
Shahi set the record by holding the Upward Lotus Pose continuously for 27 minutes and 03 seconds, demonstrating exceptional physical endurance and mental discipline.
Congratulating Shahi on his achievement, Ambassador Sharma lauded his dedication and noted that the feat brings pride to Nepal while highlighting the country’s rich tradition of yoga and wellness.
