Kathmandu: A Cambodia–Nepal B2B Business Interaction Programme 2026 is set to be held in Cambodia with the aim of strengthening trade, investment, tourism, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The programme, scheduled for the last week of Poush, will be organised by Cambodia’s Juba Supplies and Maintenance Company Limited (JSM Cambodia), while Nepal’s Season Media will manage the event. Business representatives from Nepal, including the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Nepal Chamber of Commerce, and stakeholders from tourism, aviation, manufacturing, technology, culture, and import-export sectors, are expected to participate.
Programme coordinator Ram Prasad Padhya said representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, tourism and hospitality associations, aviation companies, private investment groups, business organisations, and cultural and creative sectors will participate from the Cambodian side. He added that the event will also serve as a networking and experience-sharing platform for businesspeople, artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Asia.
Former Non-Resident Nepali Association Cambodia president and businessman Lal Singh Khadka said the programme is expected to further strengthen bilateral friendship, cultural diplomacy, and tourism promotion between Nepal and Cambodia. He noted that business meetings, sectoral discussions, networking sessions, and policy dialogues will be held during the programme.
According to the organisers, opportunities for joint investment and collaboration will be explored in high-potential sectors such as tourism and hospitality, aviation, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, cultural and creative industries, and digital innovation.
A special attraction of the programme will be the ‘International Excellence Award’, which will honour outstanding entrepreneurs, industrialists, and institutions contributing to economic development, innovation, and bilateral cooperation. Programme Manager Pradeep Raj Onta said the award aims to recognise professional and institutional contributions across Asian countries while promoting international cooperation and cultural exchange.
Organisers believe the programme will play an important role in promoting bilateral trade, expanding investment, and strengthening people-to-people ties between Nepal and Cambodia.
