Kathmandu: Charge d’ Affaires of Nepal to the UK, H.E. Bipin Duwadi, observed and addressed the Gurkha Annual Freedom Parade in Brecon, Wales.
The Brecon Freedom Parade is one of the most significant occasions for the Gurkha community, as it is considered a source of pride and recognition. The event reflects the deep historical ties between Nepal and the UK and reaffirms the special bond between the historic town of Brecon and the Gurkhas. Brecon has a twinning partnership with Dhampus, Kaski.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Brecon, Members of the British Parliament, senior military officers, and local residents, among others.
