Kathmandu: The Embassy delegation, led by CdA Dr. Surendra Thapa, met with Acharya Balkrishna, Managing Director of Patanjali Ayurved and Founder Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust, in Haridwar on July 28.
The meeting explored avenues to strengthen Nepal-India cooperation in Ayurveda, wellness, medicinal herbs and agriculture, including the promotion of Nepal’s tea, herbal and other high-value agricultural products in the Indian market. The discussions also focused on positioning Nepal as a premier wellness and holistic tourism destination.
The delegation also visited Patanjali’s state-of-the-art Ayurveda Research Centre to learn about its work in research, innovation and the development of traditional medicine.
