Moscow: The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA), the National Coordination Council, Russia organized a cultural event in Moscow, Russia on April 12.
On the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2083 BS. Nepali artists Ramji Khand, Bhumika Giri and others made their cultural performance at the event, which was attended by almost 300 members of the Nepali Diaspora community in Russia.
Maheshwar Mani Tripathi, Charges d’affairs of the Embassy of Nepal, expressed happiness for the event by stating that this was the first event after the COVID-19 pandemic organized in Moscow by inviting artists from Nepal. Tripathi stated that such events organized abroad could be instrumental to safeguard Nepali arts and cultures. Likewise, Chairman of NRNA Russia, Sitaram Kattel (Milan) pledged to organize such events in the future as well, while expecting support from all stakeholders.
