Kathmandu: Lok Bahadur Thapa, the President of United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) recently spoke at an event focused on entrepreneurship and inclusive legal systems, highlighting their importance for women’s development.
During the event, the President emphasized that access to justice, economic empowerment, and digital inclusion are closely linked. According to the statement, progress in one area cannot be achieved without improvements in the others.
The President also stressed that creating more entrepreneurial opportunities for women and youth is essential for achieving sustainable development goals. Collaboration between governments, private companies, civil society, and legal institutions was described as key to making real progress.
