Kathmandu: UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) President Lok Bahadur Thapa and President of the UN General Assembly Annalena Baerbock held a joint briefing with Member States on January 31.
They reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination between the General Assembly and ECOSOC to enhance coherence, synergy, and complementarities. The leaders underscored the importance of strong multilateralism and reiterated their resolve to work together to better deliver on sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda.
