Kathmandu: The Election Commission Nepal organized a reception on March 4 in honour of international election observers arriving in Nepal to monitor the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
Observers from Japan and several other countries attended the event. Chiefs and representatives of diplomatic missions based in Kathmandu, as well as members of the Council of Ministers, were also present at the reception.
The event was organized ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Thursday, with observers expected to monitor the electoral process across the country.
