Kathmandu: EU Ambassador to Nepal, Veronique Lorenzo, participated in the “National Dialogue on Media’s Role in Natural Resource Management and Green Growth” on February 11. Minister for Forests and Environment Madhav Prasad Chaulagain also attended the event.
The dialogue highlighted 42 new stories produced by journalists from across the country during their fellowship with the Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ). Insights from similar provincial-level dialogues were also shared at the programme.
Speakers emphasized that evidence-based reporting plays a crucial role in fostering informed debate on climate change, biodiversity conservation, and green economic growth.
