Kathmandu: The European Union (EU) has welcomed the holding of the House of Representatives elections in Nepal.
In a statement, the EU congratulated the interim government as well as the electoral and security authorities for conducting the polls in a peaceful and orderly manner.
The European Union also expressed its interest in further deepening its longstanding partnership with Nepal and advancing shared priorities between the two sides.
