Kathmandu: FAO Director-General QU Dongyu met with Lok Bahadur Thapa, President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
He congratulated Thapa on his appointment and pledged to work together in advocating for improved global food security through financing, technology and innovation, and the empowerment of youth and women to achieve the “Four Betters.”
