FAO Nepal Concludes Drone Training to Boost Disaster Assessment and Agricultural Resilience

Kathmandu: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Nepal concluded a three-day Drone Training Program focused on UAV, LiDAR, and photogrammetry for disaster assessment and agricultural resilience on November 3.

According to the FAO Nepal, during the training which was held from November 1 to 3, participants gained hands-on experience using the DJI M350 RTK, P1 Sensor, and L2 LiDAR Sensor.

Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, emphasized the importance of such innovation-driven capacity building, particularly its crucial importance in agricultural resilience.
