Kathmandu: A collaboration between the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Nepal, the Global Information Exchange System (GIES), and Bhutan was highlighted at the World Food Forum (WFF) 2025 on October 12.
The 2025 WFF, which began on 10 October at the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, is being held under the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.”
Speaking at the event, Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, reaffirmed FAO’s strong commitment to fostering green innovation and strengthening partnerships for sustainable food systems in the region.
