Kathmandu: FAO, in collaboration with the Department of Livestock Services, has supplied 5,000 kg of lime and 500 liters of phenyl to Bidur Municipality, and 2,500 kg of lime and 165 liters of phenyl to Devghat Rural Municipality to support communities affected by the Bhote Koshi floods.
These essential sanitation materials are being used to disinfect areas affected by livestock losses and flood-related contamination, helping to prevent disease outbreaks, safeguard public health, and support the early recovery of affected communities.
