Kathmandu: Hon. Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Finance Minister of Nepal, attended the Constitution/National Day program organized by the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi and hoisted the National Flag on September 19.
In his address, Minister Wagle paid tribute to all martyrs who made sacrifices in Nepal’s long journey for freedom and democracy, from the democratic movements preceding 1950 to the Gen-Z movement of last year. He reflected on Nepal’s democratic evolution culminating in the promulgation of the Constitution in 2015, and underscored the collective responsibility to consolidate democratic achievements, strengthen institutions and advance economic transformation.
