Finland Congratulates PM Karki on Her Appointment

Kathmandu: The Government of Finland has extended its congratulations to Sushila Karki on her appointment as the interim Prime Minister of Nepal, calling it a significant step toward democratic transition.

In a statement, the Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu said, “Finland congratulates Rt. Hon. Sushila Karki on her appointment as Nepal’s interim PM – a key step toward democratic transition. We mourn the lives lost in recent protests and welcome efforts toward peaceful transition. Finland remains committed to Nepal’s democratic future.”
