Kathmandu: The Embassy of Finland in Nepal marked the first day of Dashain by celebrating the traditional car puja together with the Embassy team.
Finnish Ambassador to Nepal, Petri Juhani Puhakka, along with staff members, gathered for the annual ritual, which symbolizes prayers for safe and smooth journeys. Sharing the moment on social media, the Embassy expressed, “Wishing for safe and smooth travels on our long drives across Nepal.”
As Nepal’s biggest festival, Dashain, commenced, the Embassy shared that this year’s celebration carried special significance, bringing the team together at the start of the festive season.
