Kathmandu: The Ministry of Finance has established a dedicated Focal Unit to enhance coordination with foreign investors and international development finance institutions.
The Unit has been formed under the Ministry’s International Economic Relations Division and will work to strengthen collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies on matters related to foreign investment.
According to Finance Ministry Spokesperson Tanka Prasad Pandey, the Unit will provide necessary coordination and facilitation on issues such as banking, revenue, and other areas directly linked to the Ministry, ensuring smoother processes for foreign investors.
The newly formed Unit is expected to play an important role in removing obstacles to incoming investment and ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
