Kathmandu: Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal received a call from Motegi Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, on August 31.
During the telephone conversation, the two Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the prevailing situation in Nepal. Minister Motegi conveyed his deepest condolences and expressed solidarity with the people of Nepal.
Minister Khanal stated that the Government of Nepal is mobilising all available resources to support the ongoing search, rescue, and relief operations.
He also shared his gratitude to the Government of Japan for its solidarity and willingness to support Nepal at this difficult hour.
