Kathmandu: Hon. Shisir Khanal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the opening of the General Debate of the High-Level Week(HLW) of the 81st Session of UN General Assembly (UNGA81) which began on September 22.
The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Balendra Shah is leading the Nepali delegation of UNGA81 and will address the General Assembly on September 24.
The theme of UNGA81 is ‘Restoring trust, managing transformation: A United Nations that delivers for all’ which resonated with Nepal’s unwavering faith in the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, international law and strong commitment to advancing global peace, human dignity and sustainable development, leaving no one behind.
