Kathmandu: Hon. Shisir Khanal, Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a courtesy call on H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan, on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81).
The two leaders discussed various aspects of the excellent bilateral relations between Nepal and Bhutan. They also exchanged views on the growing frequency and intensity of climate-induced disasters and underscored the importance of strengthening cooperation on climate issues, particularly as both countries are mountainous nations.
