Kathmandu: Hon. Shisir Khanal, Minister for Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with H.E. Teresa Ribera, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) at UNHQ, New York.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Vice-President for her message of sympathy and solidarity at this difficult time.
Both sides exchanged substantive views on various aspects of Nepal-EU partnerships and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening cooperation, particularly in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in the aftermath of the recent climate-induced Bhotekoshi floods in Nepal.
