Kathmandu: Hon. Foreign Minister, Shisir Khanal, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Dr. Khaliur Rahman.
On the occasion, the two Foreign Ministers discussed the ongoing search, rescue and relief efforts in the wake of the disaster.
Foreign Minister also thanked the Government of Bangladesh for its offer of assistance and noted that Nepal would remain in close coordination with Bangladesh regarding any specific assistance that may be required.
