Kathmandu: Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Shisir Khanal received Prof. Anil Sooklal, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Nepal for a courtesy call on October 13.
On the occasion, they exchanged views on further strengthening Nepal–South Africa bilateral relations, including enhancing economic and investment cooperation and promoting South-South cooperation and multilateralism.
Reflecting on recent catastrophic floods in Nepal, they also highlighted the urgent need to amplify voices of climate-vulnerable countries in global forums for enhanced international cooperation to fight climate change.
