Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma received the newly elected President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Dr. Hem Raj Sharma, along with members of the Executive Committee, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 20.
Congratulating the new leadership team, Minister Sharma emphasized the importance of working in a coordinated and result-oriented manner to contribute to Nepal’s socio-economic development. He highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between the government and the Nepali diaspora to achieve shared national goals.
On the occasion, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai also extended his congratulations to the newly elected team and wished them a successful tenure. He expressed confidence in their ability to effectively advance the founding objectives of the NRNA.
In response, President Dr. Sharma and other Executive Committee members appreciated the Ministry’s role in fostering unity among Nepalis worldwide. They reiterated their commitment to working collaboratively and efficiently to strengthen this unity and contribute to Nepal’s economic prosperity.
