Kathmandu: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal on Wednesday organized a press briefing in the presence of Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai to provide updates on the latest developments in West Asia, the status of Nepali citizens in the region, and Nepal’s diplomatic achievement at the United Nations.
During the briefing, government officials shared details about ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and protection of Nepali nationals residing in West Asian countries. The Ministry announced that an Emergency Response Team (ERT) has been formed under the leadership of the Foreign Secretary to coordinate emergency support and response mechanisms.
