Kathmandu: Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai met with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Nepal, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, at the Ministry on December 16.
During the meeting, Foreign Secretary Rai congratulated Ambassador Delpitiya on her appointment and wished her a successful tenure in Nepal. He also conveyed Nepal’s deep sorrow and solidarity with the Government and people of Sri Lanka in the aftermath of the recent disasters.
The meeting further included discussions on opportunities to strengthen and advance bilateral relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka, reaffirming the two countries’ commitment to enhancing cooperation and mutual understanding.
