Foreign Youth Delegations Pay Courtesy Call on Nepali Army Chief Sigdel

Kathmandu: Chief of Army Staff of the Nepali Army, Ashok Raj Sigdel, held a courtesy meeting with a foreign delegation participating in the Youth Exchange Program organized by the National Service Corps in connection with Mahashivaratri and the 263rd anniversary of the Nepal Army.

The delegation, visiting Nepal to take part in the Youth Exchange Program, is led by senior officials from the National Cadet Corps of India and includes representatives from India, Pakistan, Bhutan, and the Maldives. The meeting took place at the Army Headquarters.

During their visit, the delegation is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President and Prime Minister. They will also observe the special Army Day program to be held at Tundikhel on February 15, along with visits to various historical, religious, and tourist sites across the country.

The Youth Exchange Program aims to promote mutual understanding and friendship among students from different countries by providing opportunities to share experiences, knowledge, and insights into each other’s art, language, and culture.
