Foundation Stone Laid for High Impact Community Development Project in Gulmi

Kathmandu: The foundation stone for the construction of Shree Ninyukharka Secondary School in Dhurkot Rural Municipality-3, Gulmi District was jointly laid by Gitanjali Brandon, Counsellor at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, and Bhupal Pokharel, Chairman of Dhurkot Rural Municipality.

The new two-storeyed school building, constructed with Rs. 38 million in financial assistance from the Government of India, will include classrooms, furniture, and allied facilities. The project is being implemented as a High Impact Community Development Project (HICDP) through the Dhurkot Rural Municipality.

Officials, including the Chairman, the School Management Committee, and other local stakeholders, appreciated India’s support for the development of the school. The initiative reflects the strong bilateral cooperation between India and Nepal, reinforcing efforts to promote growth and development in Nepal through multi-sectoral projects.
