German Diplomat Calls on Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

KATHMANDU: Dr. Michael Koch, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Germany in Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the two dignitaries engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest, including the longstanding bilateral relations between Nepal and Germany and ongoing development cooperation. They expressed satisfaction over the strong partnership and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in areas such as sustainable development, climate change, education, and infrastructure.

Foreign Minister Deuba appreciated Germany’s consistent support for Nepal’s development initiatives and highlighted the need to further deepen economic and technical cooperation.

Dr. Koch reaffirmed Germany’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s development priorities and strengthening the friendly ties between the two nations.
