Kathmandu: The International Labour Organisation (ILO) Nepal, with support from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Nepal, has partnered with the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) to strengthen fair recruitment and due diligence practices.
The collaboration aims to help member agencies align their recruitment operations with the ILO’s principles on fair recruitment, ensuring transparency and ethical labour migration.
Nepal, a member of the ILO since 1966, has built a longstanding partnership with the organisation to promote decent work. Over the years, the cooperation between the ILO, the Government of Nepal, employers, and workers’ organisations has contributed to significant progress in advancing fair labour standards and improving the world of work in the country.
