Kathmandu: ILO Nepal Country Director Numan Özcan paid a courtesy visit to the newly elected Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President, Anjan Shrestha, and his team to exchange views on Nepal’s evolving economic landscape, labour market governance, and emerging opportunities and challenges.
The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding ILO–FNCCI partnership and its growing importance in Nepal’s changing economic and labour market context. Both sides reiterated their commitment to further strengthen collaboration to advance decent work, sustainable enterprises, productivity, social protection, rights at work, and social dialogue.
Together, the ILO and FNCCI will continue working to promote a more productive, inclusive and resilient world of work in Nepal.
