Kathmandu: Strengthening bilateral defence cooperation in the Himalayas, the 19th edition of Exercise SURYAKIRAN between the Indian Army and the Nepali Army is set to commence on November 25, 2025 in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.
The annual joint exercise aims to enhance interoperability in jungle warfare and counter-terrorism operations in mountainous terrain. With a focus on integrating niche technologies and exchanging best practices, the exercise underscores the longstanding military partnership between the two neighbouring nations.
