Kathmandu: General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, Chief of the Army Staff, Indian Army, laid a wreath and paid solemn homage to Martyrs at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel on August 17.
General Seth called on General Ashok Raj Sigdel, Chief of the Army Staff, Nepali Army and Honorary General of Indian Army, at Nepali Army Headquarters, and discussed areas to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation. Reaffirming the commitment towards capability development, General Seth presented electric bus and medical equipment for disaster relief to Nepali Army.
During a ceremony at Shital Niwas, the General was conferred the Honorary rank of General of the Nepali Army by Rt. Honourable President of Nepal. The General also called on President of Nepal and discussed matters of mutual interest.
