Kathmandu: Indian Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth arrived in Kathmandu on August 16 for an official visit to bolster military cooperation between Nepal and India.
During his visit, General Seth will hold bilateral talks with Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel and meet with Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
President Ram Chandra Paudel is set to confer the honorary rank of General of the Nepali Army upon General Seth during a special ceremony on August 17.
Additionally, the visiting Army Chief will pay tribute at the Military Pavilion in Tundikhel and participate in formal programs at the Army Headquarters.
