Indian Embassy Celebrates the 77th Foundation Day of ICCR in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The Embassy of India celebrated the 77th Foundation Day of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in Kathmandu. Khadak Raj Paudel, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation of Nepal, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Music teachers and students of ICCR Nepal created a captivating cultural programme with their performances and the highlight of the event was a Nepali band led by ICCR’s alumni artist, Rhythm Kandel. Distinguished ICCR alumni from Nepal also shared their inspiring professional stories, highlighting the important role of ICCR scholarship in their careers.

The event concluded with distribution of prizes to winners of various contests organized by ICCR Nepal on Indian arts and culture. The celebrations reflected enduring India-Nepal friendship and ICCR’s role as bridge between the two peoples.
