Kathmandu: On the sacred occasion of Ashadha Purnima, also known as Guru Purnima, the Indian Embassy in Nepal organized a prayer ceremony on July 10.
The ceremony consisted of monks and representatives from the Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana traditions from monasteries across Nepal. Moreover, the sacred chants and prayers honored Lord Buddha’s first sermon at Sarnath, highlighting the deep spiritual and cultural ties between 🇮🇳 and 🇳🇵.
